We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This role involves creating, managing, and updating technical documentation.
Job Responsibilities :
Create documentation : Use a CMS and SnagIt to create and update technical content, ensuring all pages are tagged and formatted correctly.
Manage projects : Track all work using Jira, manage release alignment calls, and ensure timely delivery of release highlights and documentation.
Communicate : Clearly and proactively communicate with team members and stakeholders, promptly responding to emails and messages.
Solve problems : Identify and resolve issues independently, seeking out-of-the-box solutions and ensuring problems are fully resolved.
Serve our clients : Provide exceptional service to internal and external clients, incorporating feedback and maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
Collaborate : Foster a collaborative environment, participate in team activities, and build connections across various teams.
Adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and department(s) including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested.
As part of the responsibilities for this role, you will understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.
Required Qualifications :
A bachelor's degree, ideally in finance or technical writing.
At least 3 to 5 years of experience in finance or technical writing.
Strong understanding of technical concepts and the ability to learn new features independently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
Experience with content management systems and screen capture tools.
Experience with Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Jira.
Experience in the finance industry or financial management is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications :
Familiarity with platforms such as UMP, Tamarac, MoneyGuide, or Yodlee.
Knowledge of finance industry best practices.
Ability to draft organization-wide communication and represent the team in stakeholder meetings.
