Job descriptionReview credit applications and make sound decisions based on Company guidelines. Analyze credit risk and financial information such as payment to income, loan to value, credit history and other data to determine quality and profitability of a loan. Interact daily with automotive dealerships to negotiate and capture approvals. Build strong relationships with the sales & marketing team, funders, and dealerships to maximize potential business. Meet target goals for productivity and quality in a consistent manner. Other duties as assigned. 2+ years of credit review / analysis experience in the non-prime auto finance industry. Effective communication and decision-making skills. Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. Ability to interact with others in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to work independently as well as part of a team. Proficient with the Microsoft suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.). Bachelor's Degree in Business or equivalent work experience. About The Position
The Credit Analyst II (Auto Finance) will be responsible for analyzing credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit and underwriting loans accordingly. This includes communicating such decisions to appropriate individuals to capture the business and meet target volume goals. In-House Position.
