We are looking for an experienced credit analyst that will complete a quality credit write-up by gathering, analyzing and interpreting all types of credit information on existing and prospective customers. The candidate will review customer accounts and portfolios in order to identify, evaluate and determine the appropriate course of action on potential credit quality issues in order to maximize credit quality and minimize risk and potential loss to the company.

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or equivalent work experience
• Three to five years of experience in bank credit and lending analysis
• Completed formal credit training and bank compliance training
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills

Qualifications and Skills

1.     Excellent credit analysis and analytical skills

2.     Thorough knowledge of credit administration, policy and procedures

3.     Ability to prepare a loan presentation, including financial spreads with use of excel

4.     Ability to present business industry information by use of various research tools

5.     Thorough knowledge of economics, accounting, and finance and ability to interpret and communicate trends.

6.     In-depth knowledge of risk analysis of commercial and consumer real estate lending

7.     Excellent technical report writing skills and attention to detail

8.     Excellent verbal and written communication skills

9.     Interacts with others (co-workers, management, clients, and vendors) in a professional and tactful manner including treating everyone with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position

10. Ability to work in a rapid pace environment with short deadlines
