Job description

Credit Analyst (5 month contract)

Job Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join our finance team. The primary responsibilities of this role include managing deductions and cash applications using SAP. The ideal candidate will have experience in credit analysis, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with SAP.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deductions Management :

Investigate and resolve customer deductions in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary documentation and information.
  • Analyze deduction trends and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all deduction activities and resolutions.
  • Cash Applications :

    • Apply customer payments to the appropriate accounts using SAP.

  • Reconcile discrepancies between customer payments and invoices.
  • Ensure timely and accurate posting of cash receipts.
  • Monitor and manage unapplied cash and follow up with customers as needed.
  • Credit Analysis :

    • Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers.

  • Monitor customer accounts for potential credit risks and take appropriate actions.
  • Prepare credit reports and provide recommendations for credit limits.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures.

    • Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00 / hr.
