Farnsworth Group is seeking a Survey Crew Chief in one the below posting locations. This position entails performing a wide variety of surveys in various locations. There is 80% expected travel. This is not a contract position; we are looking to fill a permanent position where you will have the opportunity to establish and develop a career in Land Surveying.

Posting Locations for this role : Colorado Springs, Durango, and Greenwood Village (Denver Tech Center), CO

Job Activities :

ALTA / NSPS Land Title Surveys

Boundary Surveys

Topographic Surveys

Construction Layout

As-Built Pipeline Surveys

3D Scanning

UAV Surveys

Specific Requirements include :

High school diploma or equivalent

8 + years of property surveys, including ALTA and Section Line Surveys

Experience with GPS, Total Station and Data Collectors

Ability to organize field notes

Ability to read Construction Plans

Experience performing Boundary Research, preferred

LSIT, preferred

Ability to execute field staking

Strong math skills

80% travel required

Valid driver's license and be insurable under company insurance

Ability to work outside in a wide variety of weather and terrain conditions

Ability to regularly lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 100 pounds

Desired Qualifications :

Experienced with LiDAR, Scanners, point clouds

Oil & Gas Pipeline experience

DOT experience

Salary Range :   $25 - $40 per hour (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
