Position Overview
The Senior Project Scheduler will play a critical role in the successful planning and execution of complex commercial construction projects. This position requires experience in managing scheduling for $20M+ projects and a strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 . As a senior-level scheduler, you'll oversee scheduling activities for both large-scale and smaller projects, ensuring seamless communication, problem resolution, and adherence to project timelines.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with the project team and trade partners to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Produce conceptual schedules independently for team review and refinement.
- Monitor, analyze, and update design deliverables , procurement, and construction schedules.
- Review and critique vendor and subcontractor schedules, verifying updates and ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain a database of probable activity durations for improved scheduling efficiency.
- Create and manage baseline schedules using well-defined and properly sequenced activities.
- Provide regular status updates, forecasts, and reports on project progress.
- Understand the logistics and flow required for successful project execution.
- Collaborate with project managers to resolve delays, identify process improvements, and recommend workaround plans to keep projects on track.
- Perform additional duties as requested by project management.
Skills and Qualifications
7-10 years of experience in industrial or commercial construction , specifically on projects exceeding $20M .
Bachelors Degree in Construction Management , Engineering , or Business Administration .
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
