Duties and Responsibilities :
Represent clients in criminal defense cases from initial consultation through resolution.
Develop and implement effective legal strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
Conduct thorough case investigations, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and preparing legal documents.
Advise clients on their legal rights and options and guide the legal process.
Negotiate settlements and plea deals with opposing counsel and prosecutors.
Prepare and present compelling arguments in court, including motions, pre-trial motions, and trial arguments.
Maintain accurate and detailed case files and documentation.
Stay updated on changes in criminal law and legal procedures.
Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and answer questions.
Requirements :
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Texas.
Experience in criminal defense law preferred.
Demonstrated experience in handling criminal cases, including trials and negotiations.
Strong understanding of Texas Criminal Law and legal procedures.
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proven track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
Education :
