Overview

The Procedural Sedation Unit nurses work collaboratively with medical, radiology, and anesthesiology staff providing sedation and perianesthesia services for patients undergoing diagnostic, invasive, and / or painful procedures. We offer moderate procedural sedation, assist Anesthesia in venues outside of the operating room, and support nursing care needs in the Radiology department.

The largest populations of patients are cared for in the Radiology department and this growing practice is expanding to provide nursing services to patients receiving sedation and general anesthesia outside the operating room at the Adele Hall and Kansas Children's Mercy locations.

Adele Hall Campus

We provide services in the Radiology department, inpatient units, and clinics.

• 0600 to 1900 Monday through Friday
• After hours, the sedation team can be contacted using Web OnCall.

Kansas Campus

We provide services in the Radiology department, inpatient units, and clinics.

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $32.36 / hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work / Work from Home

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
