As our Regional Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will be instrumental in improving the lives of students throughout multiple Spectrum School locations. You will design and implement tailored clinical and educational interventions aimed at meeting each learner’s unique requirements. In addition, you will provide strong mentorship and training to your team, while continually evaluating and enhancing their performance.
Your role will focus on ensuring our programs adhere to relevant laws and regulations and reflect best practices, guaranteeing that every student can thrive and achieve long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver training and guidance to teachers and educational staff for creating impactful Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of academic instruction and behavioral support services.
- Collaborate with staff to reinforce instructional best practices aligned with Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals.
- Implement evidence-based interventions using proven behavioral and educational strategies to promote student success.
- Provide crisis management intervention for students exhibiting challenging behaviors.
- Work closely with education teams to analyze data on student behaviors and monitor progress towards goals.
- Conduct quality checks at campuses to identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements based on data analysis.
- Support on-site teams through specialized training on behavioral assessment and interventions.
- Guide and supervise staff pursuing BACB certification within assigned regions.
- Assist in the development of improvement plans to enhance campus performance.
- Engage in team meetings to discuss behavioral needs and develop comprehensive support strategies.
- Ensure that all campuses maintain adherence to Department of Education regulations and internal standards.
- Maintain detailed records of assessments, interventions, and compliance activities.
- Provide operational support focused on academic achievement, behavioral support, and staff retention.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to aid in achieving organizational goals.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Currently licensed or in the process of obtaining a BCBA certification.
- Preferred: Education specialist or special education instruction credential.
- Valid CA state driver's license.
- Ability to pass company-approved crisis management training.
- Expertise in ABA, including PBIS, data-driven decision making, and functional behavior assessments.
- Experience in special education services, teaching strategies, and classroom management.
- Proficient in working with students with a variety of disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders.
- Experience in crisis management and intervention strategies.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of relevant technology and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
