What Can We Offer YOU?

We are currently looking for a Part-Time Culinary Instructor at our Louisville Campus. Adjunct faculty members report to their respective Dean; however, they may have a dotted line reporting responsibility to a specified Department / Program Director or General Education Chair. Adjunct faculty members are student-centered, teaching mentors who assist students to progress through their academic programs to completion. Essentially, the adjunct faculty member’s responsibilities involve instruction and assessment of student learning. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with a commercial kitchen, ability to apply formal culinary education training in a classroom environment, ability to stand for several hours at a time. a passion for cooking and student success, a willingness to teach classes or students, and work individually with students as necessary to perfect their cooking skills. Experience in staff training, ServSafe or e-Food handler, proficiency in quality and quantity cookery, managerial communication and organizational skills, food inventory and procurement preferred. The pay for this position is $1900 per course. Hours for this position will be as needed online, face-to-face (7am - 2pm), or hy-flex Responsibilities of the position include :
