The Culinary Assistant Manager plays a vital role in supporting back-of-house team members and Kitchen Managers by maintaining kitchen standards and ensuring high-quality service every day. We are looking for a dynamic leader with a coaching mindset who is eager to help our restaurant team run back-of-house operations smoothly.

Position Details:

• Uphold employment standards consistent with Bloomin' Brands policies.
• Assist in preparing the kitchen for the opening crew.
• Review schedules for incoming team members.
• Provide coaching on security procedures and adherence.
• Evaluate the closing procedures from the previous night.
• Conduct daily inventory checks and prepare to receive orders.
• Monitor shelf-life adherence and check temperatures on freezers, dish machines, and refrigeration units before food prep.
• Learn flavor profiles and specifications of menu items.
• Follow recipe cards meticulously.
• Complete daily sanitation checklists and conduct health inspections.
• Adhere to sanitation, temperature, and food safety standards.
• Ensure timely ticket flow for excellent cook times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Certified trainer in any back-of-house functions.
• Passing grade in assessment testing.
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Minimum age of 21 years.

Preferred Requirements:

• Previous experience in the restaurant industry.
• Prior leadership roles.
• Trained and proficient in all back-of-house functions.

Compensation Range: $15.00 - $22.00
