About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Curriculum to lead the scaling and enhancement of its curriculum capability. The successful candidate will be tasked with providing overall leadership and stewardship, ensuring quality, coherence, and measurable impact across large-scale work. This role requires a balance of hands-on execution and long-term vision, with a focus on instructional rigor, and the integration of research-based practices. The VP of Curriculum will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end curriculum design, development, and production process, as well as establishing and improving curriculum ecosystems. A key aspect of the role is to lead and develop a multidisciplinary curriculum team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. The ideal candidate for the VP of Curriculum position at the company will have a background in senior leadership, scaling large K-12 curriculum organizations, and a proven track record in standards-aligned curriculum design. Experience in managing strategic partnerships, building durable systems, and delivering high-quality instructional materials in public-sector environments is essential. The role also demands a leader with a strong foundation in people management, a commitment to equity and inclusion, and the ability to integrate technology into curriculum workflows. The VP of Curriculum will be expected to maintain a relentless focus on measurable impact, ensuring that the curriculum work translates into improved teaching practices and student outcomes.
