Description

Job Responsibilities

Support the Director, Curriculum Management in the management of tasks related to the set up and maintenance of student clinical year enrollments, registration, and requirements.

  • Enter and maintain clinical year enrollments in the Evalue database
  • Assist with reviewing submitted student plans to ensure accuracy and curricular compliance.
  • Collect and update rotation dates and clinical service availability information in the clinical scheduling database
  • Create specialty shift schedules based on clinical rotations (e.g. student captains, Specialty duty, holiday shifts)
  • Support the Director, Curriculum Management with other various administrative tasks related to clinical year enrollments
  • Facilitate relative student registration functions

Responsible for a variety of advising, orientation and administrative functions in the daily operations of Penn Vet Offshore Students, specifically PAVE

Oversee functions in the daily operations of Penn Vet externship programming.

  • Collect and track externship / independent study applications submitted by students that require Education Committee approval.
  • Assist prospective extern sites with the process of becoming an approved externship site and advertising their experiences to students.
  • Facilitate external externship request, including vetting applicants, scheduling, credentialing, etc.
  • Assists with other duties as assigned in support of OASL.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Fine Arts, and 2 to 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Critical thinking skills, exceptional organizational skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and goals
  • Ability to use Office and Excel to analyze data. attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new database management systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Previous experience working with a higher education curriculum program is strongly preferred
