Job descriptionDust and clean surfaces including desks, windowsills, and furniture. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors. Replenish supplies in restrooms and other facilities as needed. Facility Upkeep : Perform minor repairs and adjustments as needed. Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are maintained and used appropriately. Safety and Compliance : Use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines. Comply with health and safety regulations, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials. Customer Service : Provide assistance and support during events or special activities as needed. Education : High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience : Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred but not required. Skills : Good organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with accuracy. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Physical Requirements : Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to cleaning chemicals. Typically works indoors in a variety of environments, including offices, classrooms, and restrooms. May involve occasional outdoor work or exposure to varying temperatures. Work hours may vary, including evenings or weekends, depending on the needs of the facility.

Job Summary :
The Custodial Service Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and sanitary environment in assigned areas. This role involves performing various cleaning tasks, ensuring the upkeep of facilities, and providing support to other team members to promote a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Cleaning and Maintenance :
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in hallways, classrooms, offices, restrooms, and other areas.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Custodial Supervisor or Facility Manager.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Respond to requests and concerns from staff and visitors in a professional manner.
Qualifications :
Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals safely.
Ability to lift and carry up to [X] pounds.
