Job descriptionSunday-Wednesday, General Cleaner, 8p-6 : 30a Pick up and dispose of trash and debris throughout jobsite, haul trash to dumpsters Sweep and clean work areas throughout the project Able to distinguish between trash / scrap and stored materials Work in an organized manner completing areas as you go Work in close proximity with other trades in a fast-paced environment Other responsibilities as assigned This is a PHYSICALLY DEMANDING position. It entails A LOT of walking (miles a day) and includes emptying trashes (heavy lifting) and cleaning outside areas : Yard area, guard shack, smoke area, etc. Removing and Bailing Cardboard Moving and stacking Pallets Floor cleaning Fork truck operation Need to be open to ALL tasks Previous experience in a janitor, custodian, cleaner or housekeeping position preferred Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs. Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals Must have reliable transportation
