Job descriptionClean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones Vacuum, sweep and mop floors Wash and clean windows and mirrors Operate floor scrubbers and other equipment Stock and maintain supply rooms Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal Perform minor maintenance tasks such as but not limited to changing light bulbs, replacing / tightening broken handles and holders. Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap and toilet paper Monitor and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor buffers. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 pounds Basic Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols Good communication skills Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays when needed, High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.
