Role Description
Central Austin Wealth Management firm looking to add junior advisor to work with
senior / lead advisors to service new and existing client relationships. With growth opportunity to eventually develop client relationships on their own and become a lead advisor. Our firm has received Forbes Best-In-State recognition for multiple years.
The Junior Advisor / Service Advisor role is ideal for candidates with an interest in business development (new and / or existing) and who want to work as part of a team.
Compensation & Benefits
A combination of salary and bonus.
Employee benefits include : health insurance, 401k with matching, vacation time, life and disability insurances, $1,000 annual vacation bonus. Some benefits begin after 6 months of employment.
Starting salary will be dependent on existing experience and qualifications.
Developing Client Relationships
Present plans and recommendations to clients
Build and manage client relationships
Create updated plans and product recommendations
Service new and existing clients
Qualifications
Required Licensing :
Life & Health Insurance License
Securities Registered : SIE, Series 7
Ideal Designations : AWMA, RICP or CFP
Target Education :
4-year degree in business or related field (preferred)
Suggested Experience :
3+ years of relevant financial services industry experience
Experience in retirement planning, investment portfolio construction, education funding, sales, client services, or client-facing roles
Suggested Skills :
Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients
- Ability to look beyond the obvious and not stop at the first answers
Willingness to learn
Demonstrated ability to contribute to a team
Able to apply strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to the role
