Retail sales associate
Candidate will assist customers in a retail environment, driving sales, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This includes greeting customers, understanding their needs, providing product information, processing transactions, and maintaining the sales floor. Associate also plays key role in merchandising, restocking, and maintaining store appearance.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Customer interaction : Greeting customers, understanding their needs, and providing helpful friendly service.
- Product knowledge : Maintaining strong understanding of products and services offered, including features, benefits, and pricing, to effectively assist customers.
- Sales generation : Engaging customers, suggesting products, handling transactions, and processing sales and returns.
- Store maintenance : Restocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a clean and presentable sales floor.
- Problem solving : Addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and escalating issues to management when neccessary.
- Teamwork : Collaborating with other team members to acheive sales goals, share product knowledge, and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Loss prevention : Being vigilant for theft or fraudulant activities and reporting any suspicious behavior.
- Inventory management : Involved in the process of taking inventory, receiving new merchandise, and ensuring acurate pricing
