The Position:
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team at a nonprofit behavioral health center. The CSR will serve as the first point of contact for clients, providing compassionate, professional support as they navigate behavioral health services. This role is critical in ensuring a welcoming, organized, and efficient front office experience, supporting both clients and clinical staff.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $15.00 - $18.00 Per Hour

Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 7:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. EST
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Local travel for meetings, training, and location assignments
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable using computers and electronic systems
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients (new and returning) upon arrival
- Check clients in and out efficiently and accurately
- Distribute and ensure completion of intake forms
- Enter intake and enrollment data into Avatar system
- Verify insurance for new and existing clients
- Complete financial eligibility and enrollment documentation
- Conduct new client orientations
- Obtain treatment authorizations and signed release forms
- Collect payments, issue receipts, and balance cash drawer daily
- Update client records during check-in/check-out
- Schedule appointments for clients and providers
- Ensure all guests are signed in and directed to their appointments
