Job Description :

We are looking for a Customer Support Representative that will be responsible for having ongoing communication with customers a to ensure new cars, approvals and dispositions are received in a timely manner and invoicing is done upon completion of cars. This is a fast-paced position that reports into the Customer Support Manager and supports the team as needed to help us exceed our customers' expectations..

Job Requirements :

  • Maintain customer relationships and provide updated information as requested.
  • Process all job cards to allocate direct and indirect hours to the appropriate car / activity. Ensure changes to work center are up to date.
  • Provide support to Write-Up Inspectors as well as Repair Supervisors when trying to obtain or locate information on any given project / car / customer.
  • Provide support to the Quality Department with auditing, submitting, and sending documentation to customers.
  • Enter car completions in RX based on information from quality. Provide daily efficiency report for all completed cars.
  • Ensure movement approvals are submitted for certain types of hazardous material shipments.
  • Manage disposition requests and creation of waybills.
  • Maintain and update scheduling boards with cars ready to leave the plant.
  • Enter and update scheduled release dates (SRD) and update daily car status in Railcar Rx.
  • Upload Billing Repair Card (BRC) into customer websites. Audit completed work and related documentation to ensure all hours are accounted for and material is not missed.
  • Release and invoice car records. Obtain and track approvals.
  • Ensure car files are easily accessible and processed as required.
  • Maintain and follow up on all open accounts receivable balances and create credit memos for the plant.
