Are you driven by the mission of securing digital environments and countering cyber threats? Do you excel at the forefront of cybersecurity, defending critical information against malicious entities? Master Electronics is growing and so is our Cyber Security team. We are looking to add a Cyber Security Engineer to our team based in Phoenix, AZ.
This position is primarily office-based, with potential for hybrid work.
What you will do? :
- Design and Implement Security Solutions : Develop and deploy security systems and infrastructure, including firewalls, encryption, intrusion detection / prevention systems (IDS / IPS), and other cybersecurity measures
- Vulnerability Assessment : Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify potential security risks and recommend corrective actions
- Security Monitoring : Monitor network traffic for unusual activity, investigate incidents, and take immediate action to mitigate risks. Implement and manage SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools
- Incident Response : Develop and implement incident response plans, lead investigations during security breaches, and ensure effective resolution
- Security Compliance : Ensure that the organization adheres to relevant cybersecurity laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., CMMC 2.0, NIST, ISO 27001 and SOC 2). Conduct audits and provide compliance reports
- Collaboration and Training : Work with IT teams to integrate security best practices into all aspects of the organization's technology. Conduct security awareness training for staff to minimize human risk factors
- Documentation : Maintain up-to-date documentation of all security-related activities, including configurations, processes, and incident
- Security Policy Development : Develop, update, and enforce the organizations cybersecurity policies and procedures
