Salary : $108,825 - 149,509 per year

Requirements :

• Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Over 8 years of experience in Information System Security Engineering (ISSE), Information System Security Officer (ISSO), or Network Engineering supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or engineering community systems.
• Expertise in Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST 800-53, eMASS, and vulnerability management tools.
• Experience in maintaining Approval to Operate (ATO) packages and managing compliance documentation.
• Solid understanding of network security, TEMPEST standards, and DevSecOps environments.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills; capable of presenting findings to both technical and program audiences.
• Must possess, or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire, a DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification such as CISSP or an equivalent certification.
• Active TS / SCI clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens.

Responsibilities :

Lead Information System Security Engineering (ISSE) and ISSO activities for DoD mission systems.

Implement and document cybersecurity controls using NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5 and adhere to DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) standards.

Develop and sustain the Body of Evidence (BoE) to support Initial Authorization to Test (IATT), Authority to Operate (ATO), and Authorization to Change (ATC) approvals.

Conduct and provide reports on vulnerability assessments, cyber testing and evaluation, and incident responses within established timelines.

Collaborate with Systems Engineers to integrate cybersecurity into system design and testing from inception.

Facilitate the secure integration of the EverFox Cross-Domain Solution (CDS) and ensure network compliance with TEMPEST and DoD standards.

Coordinate DevSecOps pipeline security scans and supervise risk mitigation strategies for mission software.

Contribute to the planning, interface design, and monitoring solutions for Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO-S) across MSOC and BMSOC environments.
