Job Description
The Skunk Works (Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Programs) is looking for world class talent in Cyber Systems Security Engineering to be a part of a team that will carry on our nearly 80-year tradition making history in advanced aircraft development.
This role will be located at Beale AFB and supporting a multitude of contracts ion the JADO / ABMS portfolio. This role requires writing, reviewing, and remaining compliant with ATO’s (Authority to Operate), IATT’s (Interim Authority to Operate), and knowledge of COMSEC requirements / equipment. There will be a significant requirement for USG, internal, and external customer interactions on a daily basis.
Applicant is expected to conduct a range of cyber risk analysis and security assessment methods; implement patches and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to address cyber vulnerabilities, feature changes, or obsolescence; develop documentation for specific installations and configurations necessary to obtain Authorizations to Operation (ATOs) in support of program schedules; and contribute to and implement Plans of Actions and Milestones (POAMs) to mitigate open cyber risks.
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired skills
- Experience managing and implementing the ATO Lifecyle utilizing eMASS, Xacta
- Experience with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and the Defense Counterintelligence, Joint Special Program Implementation Guide and Security Agency Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM) or NIST SP 800-53 Security and Privacy Controls requirements
- Participate in internal / external security audits / inspections and perform risk assessments
- Extensive experience interfacing with government and external customers
