Job descriptionMinimum of 2 years of experience in a Security Operations Center or Digital Forensics environment. Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and MacOS security environments. Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework, tools, and techniques. Experience with basic malware analysis. Understanding of Windows Administration, particularly Active Directory and Group Policy. Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and web technologies. Excellent communication skills to convey intricate details to non-technical stakeholders. A strong focus on customer needs and a passion for continuous learning. Experience in an MSP / MSSP / MDR role. Familiarity with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python. Previous participation in cybersecurity competitions. Experience in cloud-based investigations within platforms such as M365 and AWS. 100% remote work environment since our inception in 2015. Your Key Responsibilities :
- Triage, investigate, and respond to alerts from the Huntress platform.
- Conduct thorough reviews of EDR telemetry and forensic artifacts to identify attack root causes and recommend effective remediation strategies.
- Perform malware analysis to support alert investigation and triage.
- Examine suspicious Microsoft M365 activity and propose suitable remediations.
- Support escalations from the Product Support team on threat-related queries.
- Participate in detection engineering efforts and contribute to projects aimed at enhancing our outcomes for analysts and clients.
- Engage in a collaborative team environment focused on mutual growth and improvement.
