What You'll Do : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unwanted behavior and protect people, property, and information. Assist healthcare staff, visitors, and patients with security-related concerns or questions. Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site protocols. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required for incidents occurring at the location. Remain alert to surroundings and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards immediately. Minimum Requirements : Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Level III Armed Certification required for positions in Texas only. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
