What You'll Do : Control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises. Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or suspicious activity. Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions and / or procedures related to access control. Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, including responding to alarms and incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner. Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or security-related concerns observed during the shift. Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial site and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related issues. Assist Allied Universal and client personnel during emergency response activities as required by site protocols. Minimum Requirements : Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
