Schedule : Part-time Shift Days Location : 2525 S DOWNING ST, Denver, 80210 The role you’ll contribute : Cytotechnologist performs anatomical pathology procedures as certified. Requires the exercise of independent judgement under minimum supervision. Work customarily involves procedures, cytopreparation and slide screening, which require a high degree of theoretical and practical knowledge, and expertise in certified area. The value you’ll bring to the team : Performs microscopic examination of both non-gynecologic and gynecologic specimens for evidence of precancerous lesions, cancer, inflammatory processes, organisms and other pathological conditions + Enters diagnosis into the LIS system + Tracks daily slide screening and other cytology QA / QC + Processes gynecologic, non-gynecologic & fine needle aspiration (FNA) specimens Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed : Bachelors and 1 years experience + Bachelor's degree or higher in Biological Sciences + Successful completion of a 12-month Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Cytotechnology program + American Society for Clinical Pathology This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
