About FS8 Thousand Oaks
FS8 is part of the F45 Training FIT House of Brands , combining the best of Pilates, Tone, and Yoga into a modern, music-driven, coaching-assisted group training experience. Our Thousand Oaks studio is preparing for launch, and we’re building a world-class team of instructors who are passionate about movement, community, and member experience.
Position Summary
The FS8 Instructor is responsible for delivering exceptional, high-energy, low-impact classes that align with FS8 programming standards. This role requires strong coaching skills, a passion for Pilates-based movement, and the ability to motivate members of all fitness levels in a safe, engaging environment.
Successful candidates bring professionalism, a positive attitude, and a commitment to providing an outstanding member experience at every class.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, effective, high-quality FS8 classes following the daily programmed workouts.
Provide clear instruction, demonstrations, and modifications for members of varying fitness levels and physical abilities.
Maintain strong coaching presence with excellent cueing, energy, and engagement.
Foster a welcoming, community-focused environment before, during, and after class.
Arrive prepared, punctual, and professional for all assigned shifts.
Uphold FS8 policies, values, and code of conduct.
Qualifications
Required
Experience teaching Pilates, group fitness, yoga, or similar movement modalities.
Strong understanding of anatomical principles and safe movement execution.
Excellent verbal communication and motivational coaching skills.
Ability to lead dynamic group classes and maintain high energy throughout class.
Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to exceptional member service.
Preferred
Pilates certification (Reformer / Mat / Comprehensive) — not required but strongly preferred.
Prior experience teaching in boutique fitness or group training environments.
CPR / AED certification
Availability
FS8 Thousand Oaks offers morning, midday, evening, and weekend classes. Ideal candidates have flexible availability across the following schedule :
Monday–Friday :
6 : 00am, 7 : 00am, 8 : 00am, 9 : 00am, 10 : 00am, 12 : 00pm, 4 : 30pm, 5 : 30pm, 6 : 30pm
Saturday & Sunday :
7 : 00am, 8 : 00am, 9 : 00am, 10 : 00am
