The Hourly Range : $58.44 – $93.43
Doctorate Range : $68.87 to 95.89
2021-2021 Certified Part-time Instructor / Overload Hourly Salary Schedule)
Personnel new to the District are limited to a maximum 10th step placement based on previous experience : $90.73.
Benefits :
With the exception of Workers’ Compensation benefits; this classification is not eligible for District paid benefits.
Scope of Assignment :
Under the general supervision of the Division Dean, will teach Dance courses in accordance with course descriptions, outlines, and class schedules (lecture and laboratory instruction); evaluate progress of student; advise students concerning educational matters, and perform other instructional related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
Master’s degree in dance, physical education with a dance emphasis, or theater with dance emphasis, OR Bachelor’s degree in any of the above AND Master’s degree in physical education, any life science, physiology, theater arts, kinesiology, humanities, performing arts, or music OR the equivalent.
Example of Duties :
Teach lower division college courses in the Dance; preparation of materials; grading student work; maintaining an effective classroom environment and workspace.
