Job Description

What we want

The Data Visualization Analyst gathers, compiles, analyzes, and interprets data, identifying patterns to provide business insights and support decision-making.

What you need to know

Salary : Compensation will be commensurate to selected hire’s experience.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Two years of related experience in data collection, analysis, and visualization.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in HR or HR analytics.

Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.

Experience with python.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of data visualization, spreadsheet, and database applications.

Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Essential Duties / Tasks :

Tableau Dashboard Creation, Maintenance and Training

Develops, maintains, and updates databases for specialized projects.

Review and reimagine existing dashboards to provide easier to understand visuals

Prepares, maintains, and presents historical and comparative data.

Prepares and presents technical information as educational material for non-technically trained audiences at a variety of public forums.

Provides training on dashboard and data usage to the Division of HROE.

Ad-hoc Reporting

Responds to requests for information and prepares ad-hoc reports and query analyses in desired formats.

Compiles data into usable reports.

Collects and tallies data.

Processing Data

Analyzes and interprets data, both quantitative and qualitative analyses, using accepted statistical methods and qualitative research methods.

Manipulates data and calculations.

Federal and State Mandated Reporting and Other Reporting

Provides data and completes surveys for scheduled required reporting.

Responds to report and survey requests as appropriate.
