We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Global Transportation Analyst to support and optimize our international freight operations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in global logistics, deep knowledge of Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ), and at least five years of experience navigating the complex world of international transportation. Key Responsibilities Analyze transportation and freight data to uncover efficiency gaps and cost-saving opportunities Coordinate and optimize international shipping operations, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and trade agreements Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and suppliers to ensure timely and compliant shipment delivery. Leverage FTZ knowledge to streamline processes, reduce duties, and maintain compliance Collaborate with internal departments (procurement, warehousing, finance) to align logistics strategies Generate reports and dashboards to communicate shipping trends, KPIs, and risk areas Assist in implementing transportation management systems (TMS) and process improvements Qualifications & Skills Minimum 5 years of experience in international transportation / logistics Working knowledge of FTZ operations, regulations, and documentation requirements Strong understanding of global trade compliance, Incoterms, and freight terms Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and transportation management systems Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and contribute to strategic transportation planning.
