Data Center Manager

CBRE, a global leader in commercial real estate, seeks an exceptional Data Center Manager for our Critical and Technical Services division. We ensure the seamless, resilient operation of vital client data centers, driving innovation and operational excellence in critical infrastructure management.

The Opportunity: Lead Critical Infrastructure Operations

  • As a Data Center Manager, you'll spearhead the preventative maintenance and repair services for a key client data center.
  • This role is your chance to lead a high-performing team, guarantee operational uptime, and drive continuous improvement in a critical environment.

What You'll Do (Your Impact):

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, train, and develop a dedicated team, fostering growth and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Operational Management: Coordinate daily activities, establish schedules, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion of work orders, PMs, and repairs within SLAs.
  • Client & Stakeholder Relations: Manage client relationships, meet MSA requirements, and communicate effectively with senior management on critical issues.
  • Infrastructure Assurance: Oversee facility and IT equipment installations, relocations, and decommissions, ensuring compliance with all standards.
  • Quality & Standards: Verify pristine data hall conditions, ensure all deployments meet industry standards, and maintain meticulous documentation.
  • Risk & Methodologies: Prepare and present Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
  • Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve complex operational issues, contributing to process enhancements.
  • Values Alignment: Lead by example, embodying CBRE's RISE values (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence).

What You'll Need (Your Expertise):

  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably with a Bachelor's Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Leadership: Proven background in team staffing, development, coaching, and performance management.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to convey complex information and manage expectations.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong skills in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving operational challenges.
