WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR

We are looking for a Training Center Manager to deliver structured training sessions and ensure our training center is maintained to the highest standards. This role follows a set curriculum to train groups of “Bakers” and “Cakers” (cake decorators) on the techniques and standards that make Paris Baguette products so special.

When no classes are scheduled, this position travels to provide hands-on training and support at new café openings or existing locations.

The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible, and enjoys teaching and coaching others, while consistently upholding the efficient functioning of our training center.

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate hands-on training for new and existing bakers and cakers through Paris Baguette’s structured training program, by familiarizing trainees with all baking and caking processes and procedures.
• Coach trainees on proper techniques, quality standards, and daily production routines.
• Prepare written evaluations for all trainees to support operations and café production teams in identifying and addressing any necessary training requirements to close skill gaps.
• Maintain a positive, motivating training environment.
• Ensure all training is consistent, on-brand, and in line with company standards.
• Responsible for class preparation, post-class cleanup, inventory management, ordering, and accurate and timely recording of waste.
• Ensure efficient operation of the training center by consistently upholding cleanliness standards, maintaining equipment readiness, overseeing ingredient preparation, and ensuring optimal organization at all times.
• Other duties, as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

• At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in a commercial bakery, pastry, or cake decorating role.
• Comfort teaching from a set curriculum and recurring training cycles.
• Reliability and flexibility to work morning or evening training shifts and to travel as needed.
• Clear communication skills and a patient, encouraging teaching style.
• Strong emotional intelligence; able to support diverse teams through empathy, intuition, and motivation.
• Teams Win! Must be a team player who fosters a collaborative and engaged teamwork environment.
• Being a Brand Ambassador, with an excellent knowledge of and commitment to Paris Baguette’s Mission, Vision, Brand Values and Culture.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
