We are offering a long term contract to hire employment opportunity in the healthcare and social assistance industry in Rochester, New York. We are seeking a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be primarily involved in managing customer data and ensuring its accuracy to facilitate report generation and updates, specifically within the Power BI database system.

Responsibilities :

• Efficiently process incoming phone calls, estimated at around a dozen per day.
• Assist in database management, ensuring data is correctly input and updated.
• Enter and update customer census information within the Power BI database.
• Manipulate data within the system as required for operational efficiency.
• Verify the accuracy of data within the system to maintain reliability.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Aid in generating necessary reports to assist with end of quarter renewals.
• Use Microsoft Excel to manage and organize data effectively.
• Proven experience in the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Data Entry tasks.
• Familiarity with various computer databases and how to effectively use them.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets and use complex formulas.
• Ability to maintain accuracy while performing high-volume data entry tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to error-free work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent education level.
• Willingness to undergo background checks or other pre-employment screenings as required in the healthcare sector.
