Job description

Job Title

This role will be responsible for Transaction and financial governance including compliance reporting. Accountability includes end-to-end support for PGRE financial processes and governance. Supports the implementation and oversight of governance frameworks, operational standards, and compliance processes across the real estate portfolio. Additionally, this role must plays a key operational leadership function in ensuring consistency, transparency, and performance across transactions, lease & portfolio administration and finance initiatives, will act as the real estate strategic partner industry expert, keeping informed on best practices to ensure finance processes are the best fit for the business needs. Will translate strategic priorities into goals, develop and track KPIs/metrics, manage real estate process / reporting, annual compliance reporting and drive decision making.

This role ensures that all transactions are properly governed, financially sound, and aligned with corporate standards, while providing accurate reporting and insights to support leadership decision-making. Will Track performance through KPIs, overseeing vendor service delivery, and maintaining compliance with established procedures. This role helps translate governance frameworks into day-to-day operational practices, ensuring transparency, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the real estate portfolio. The role will assist detailed compliance reports required by PGRE and business.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end business ownership of all PGRE financial processes and governance, including: financial modeling, compliance reporting, savings and total real estate costs
  • Create financial processes and tools to provide visibility to spend, track cost saving targets, evaluate contracts, streamline workflows, and develop long-term financial strategies
  • Develop global processes and playbooks that enable standardization of governance, change control and financial management and reporting of all requisite PGRE services across the portfolio
  • Responsible for reports required by PGRE and the business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Responsible for compliance dates and files.
  • Cross functional collaboration to develop mechanisms that will improve service delivery, efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborates across the organization to ensure consistent and effective execution of financial governance and management principles across PGRE globally
  • Establishes and monitors key financial reporting and governance metrics to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the critical data.
  • Carry out ad-hoc analyses & financial modeling to support decision making as required
  • Monitor portfolio of real estate transactions, including leases, acquisitions, dispositions, and renewals.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with corporate governance standards, internal approvals, and regulatory requirements for all transactions.
  • Track financial performance, maintain accurate models, and support budgeting, forecasting, and portfolio cost management.
  • Maintain dashboards and reports that provide leadership with visibility into transaction status, financial metrics, and portfolio performance.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Real Estate Operations to ensure smooth execution and adherence to processes.
  • Support audit readiness by ensuring documentation, approvals, and controls are maintained for all transactions.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership to mitigate risk, optimize financial outcomes, and support informed decision-making.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $123,500 - $206,750.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

Key Skills/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration.
  • 7+ years in corporate real estate, facilities management, governance, or operational management.
  • Experience with data management and data analytics
  • Expert Excel skills required
  • Experience working with facilities management providers and service delivery models.
  • Exposure to sustainability initiatives and environmental performance tracking.
  • Experience supporting KPI reporting and operational performance management.
  • Familiarity with real estate systems, reporting tools, or facilities management platforms.
  • Robust analytical skills and financial analysis
  • Self-starter: comfortable operating where road map and outcomes are not always defined
  • Systems proficient: Business Objects, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word desirable
