Your Role :

Project Overview & Deliverables : The candidate will monitor and quantify plant feed grade, comparing it to resulting product quality and performance, to determine minimum grade cutoffs for ore control and stockpiling purposes. Elucidating this relationship will not only mitigate the deterioration of milling equipment but also facilitate the optimization of mineral recovery across both the mine and mill.

Project Learning Objectives : The first part of the project is intended to establish a baseline relationship between modern ore mineralogy, processability, product quality, and machine wear. This will possibly be enough to begin to establish grade cutoffs for contaminants.

The second part of the project is intended to investigate the effects of specific lithological contaminants and create a predictive model the mine can use to inform acceptable overburden dilution during the cleaning, drilling, and stockpiling of ore shots.

• Pursuing a degree in : Relevant field, e.g., Petrology and / or Mineralogy or

related coursework Process Engineering or related coursework
