About The Role
As our new Senior Cloud Software Engineer you’ll be part of the GDI (Getting Data In) group under NG-SIEM with a focus on data ingestion at petabyte-scale. The group focuses on the data ingestion and onboarding experience for NG-SIEM customers, ingesting several petabytes of data per day across multiple regions from 100+ 1st party and 3rd party data sources.
As a member of the team, you will focus on a broad area of the product including ingest pipeline, data enrichment, alerting and real-time searches. You will have a chance to work on large-scale distributed systems. You will also be working on a diverse set of larger projects, which require you to collaborate cross-team with frontend engineers, UX designers and product managers.
Teams in NG-SIEM have a great amount of autonomy, and own a part of the NG-SIEM experience, from ideation and development to deployment and feedback. This includes ensuring high quality of the features they deliver, by writing automated tests, and performing manual tests.
This role is open to candidates located in the Eastern Time Zone, with occasional travel required to our Crystal City, VA Office.
