TheData Science Team within the Risk Solutions divisionis seeking an intern for thesummer2026.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

Analyzes internal and external data and performs statistical modeling to develop actionable insights and recommendations to managementregardingbusiness and product performance.

Develops data mining architectures / models / protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies toidentifytrends and extract knowledge from large, high dimensional data sets

Identifiesareas to increase efficiency and automation of data analysis processes.

Translate business problems / opportunities into technical requirements and data science specifications.

Distilland present complex problems and solutionsby creatingconciseslide decks for leadership

Creates solutions that enable enhanced business performance and decision making through a range of data preparation, modeling,analysisand / or visualization techniques.

Uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to developprocessesautomation.

Researchesand applies knowledge of existing and emerging data science principles, theories, and techniques to inform business decisions.

Develops andmaintainsstrong business knowledge and customer relationships.

May estimate the economic impact of operational decisions.

Activelyparticipatesinagileplanning and documentation in support of producingminimumviableproducts as well as product long term roadmaps

Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Developmentskills in Python, the core AI / ML libraries (required)

PySpark,PyTorch

Retrieve and manipulate data and troubleshoot data issues via SQLquery

Experience with Snowflake and SQL database

Experiencewithdistilling and presenting complex problems and their solutions to anon-technical audience

Internal drive to expand your personal domainexpertiseand curiosity about how to use thatexpertisein collaboration with other team members to mitigate our current and future customers’ financialneeds.

Education

WorkingtowardsMaster’s DegreeinData Science,Applied Math, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, Science, or Computer Science or equivalent experience
