The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Seton Hall University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor in Computer Science to start in August 2026.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Priority will be given to applicants with research in areas of Computer Engineering Robotics or Cybersecurity. Depending on the applicants academic background teaching responsibilities will include courses in Computer Science at all undergraduate levels and / or undergraduate / graduate courses in Cybersecurity or Data Science including service addition supervision of student research and maintaining a computer engineering lab is expected.

Required Qualifications :

A PhD in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related area is required. The successful applicant will have a strong interest in teaching in research and in providing student research experiences. The candidates Ph.D. must be completed by the start of employment.

Desired Qualifications :

Teaching experience a publication record and successful grant funding are desirable

Salary Range : $98500-$109500

Exempt / Nonexempt : Exempt
