Parsons is now hiring a Data Science Training Specialist with a passion for educating and solving novel challenges to support our US INDOPACOM customer.Specific Responsibilities : Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and meet objectives to support strategic initiativesIdentify strengths and weaknesses in training material; develop curriculum, manage training schedules, and instruct course materialProvide subject matter expertise to address deficiencies in data literacy and implement novel solutionsCan explain complex, technically difficult information in an easily understood manner to technical and non-technical audiencesEducate and mentor on how to effectively use and interpret data, ensuring users can independently derive insights and make informed decisionsCapable of intuitively solving complex problems, working independently, with minimal guidanceStrong problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detailRequired Education / Experience : 5+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree5+ years' experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on data automationFoundational proficiency in Python, working with structured and unstructured data with the ability to automate data processing and analysis tasks.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and planning skillsActive DoD Top Secret-level security clearance with SCI eligibilityPreferred Experience : Prior military experience supporting US INDOPACOM activitiesExperience utilizing and applying data visualization tools and techniquesPrior instruction or training roleMinimum Clearance Required to Start : Top Secret SCIThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
