Delaware City School District Pacer SACC ensures safe, healthy, fun afterschool environments that foster responsibility and independence while promoting academic, physical, and social growth for all DCS students. The Assistant Site Manager is responsible for the safety and supervision of children, implementation of day-to-day activities, assistance with design and implementation of curriculum, engagement, encouragement, and positive youth development for all participants, and assisting the site manager with site-level management and coordination, including the oversight of the day-to-day operations, supervision of Program Assistants, and providing leadership and professionalism. The SACC Assistant Site Manager is a 30 hour per week position and benefits include paid personal and sick leave, paid holidays, paid training and professional development, eligible for medical and dental benefits, consistent schedules, and free child care for eligible children.

Requirements :

• Must be 21 years old and have a minimum of 2000 hours of documentable experience in licensed child care programs.
• Minimum level 2 Child Professional Level (CPL) or School Age Endorsement level 2
• Degree in education / related field strongly preferred
• Experience working with youth in a large group setting
• Experience in leading group activities
• Availability for before and after school shifts
