Job Description
The Director of Data and Analytics oversees the strategy, implementation, and management of data and analytics solutions for the organization. The director is responsible for ensuring that the organization leverages data and analytics to achieve its goals, optimize its performance, and drive innovation. Theywork closely with other leaders, stakeholders, and teams across the organization to align data and analytics initiatives with business objectives, identify opportunities and challenges, and deliver insights and recommendations.
Responsibilities
Define and execute the data and analytics vision, strategy, and roadmap for the organization
Lead and manage a team of data and analytics professionals, including analytics engineers, data engineers, data scientists and rpa developer.
Establish and maintain data and analytics standards, policies, and best practices, ensuring data quality, security, privacy, and compliance
Design and implement data and analytics solutions, platforms, and tools, using advanced technologies and methodologies
Collaborate with business units, departments, and functions to understand their data and analytics needs, requirements, and challenges
Provide data and analytics consultancy, guidance, and support to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and partners
Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of data and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and value creation
Research and explore new data and analytics trends, innovations, and best practices, and foster a data-driven culture within the organization
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field
A minimum of 10 years of experience in data and analytics, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role
Proven track record of delivering data and analytics solutions that drive business value and outcomes
Expert knowledge and skills in data and analytics technologies, tools, and methodologies, such as data warehousing, data engineering, data modeling, data mining, data visualization, business intelligence, machine learning, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, and agile
Strong business acumen and domain knowledge, with the ability to understand and translate business needs and objectives into data and analytics solutions
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate and communicate data-driven insights and recommendations
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data and analytics concepts and findings to various audiences, using clear, concise, and compelling language and visuals
Outstanding leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing data and analytics team
Innovative and creative thinking, with the ability to explore and adopt new data and analytics trends, innovations, and best practices
