SUMMARY
The Customer Data Specialist will work as part of a team responsible for maintaining and updating various elements of customer data in numerous systems depending on the nature of the data. The accuracy of this customer data is important to drive proper account sales and opportunity reporting for internal departments and our vendor partners. This team member will also serve as a resource responding to various requests from internal teams and outside vendor partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzes customer data to align various internal accounts to a universal Covetrus account by conducting research to ensure account accuracy
- Performs customer account maintenance of a variety of customer attributes in various systems
- Implements requested tasks and / or updates for account territory assignments
- Administers strategic account price lists on customer’s accounts; administers customer exceptions for vendor or product allocation programs
- Reviews customer data thoroughly to initiate and conduct account merge requests and perform various customer data cleansing projects
- Advises sales reps, credit / others on various customer data processes
- Supports customer data maintenance being utilized by 350+ commercial team members
- Other duties as needed or required.
