YOUR ROLE :
The DAM Metadata Specialist / Librarian will be responsible for the management, cataloging, and organization of digital assets within our Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. The primary focus of this role will be to ensure that all assets (images, videos, documents, etc.) are properly tagged, classified, and searchable, enabling creative, marketing, and production teams to easily locate, access, and utilize the content they need to execute high-quality campaigns. This role requires a deep understanding of metadata standards, taxonomy, and asset organization best practices.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a passion for information management, and the ability to work collaboratively with creative teams to enhance the efficiency and scalability of our asset workflows.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES :
Metadata Management & Tagging
- Develop and implement comprehensive metadata standards and taxonomies for the categorization and organization of digital assets.
- Assign and maintain accurate and consistent metadata tags to assets (e.g., images, videos, PDFs, and other digital content), ensuring ease of search and retrieval.
- Work with creative teams to identify key attributes, keywords, and descriptions for tagging, based on client campaigns, brand guidelines, and industry standards.
- Regularly audit the metadata to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with evolving campaign needs.

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to : skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
