Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Engineer Database / Principal Engineer Database . As part of the NGAS Global Supply Chain Operations Performance team, the individual will be required to support a diverse array of tasks and projects within the Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization. This position requires very good interpersonal skills, organization skills, and proficiency in various reporting systems. Knowledge of Supply Chain Management / Procurement concepts desired.
This position can be based out of our Palmdale, CA or Melbourne, FL locations.
The Database Engineer creates data mining architectures / models / protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large data sets. Analysis may have many applications such as to address a business issue or provide a competitive advantage for the organization.
In this role, the selected candidate will perform the following :

Salary Range : $77,200 - $134,200
Salary Range 2 : $95,300 - $165,500
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
