Software Database Engineer 4 Job Summary : Talent Software Services is in search of a Software Database Engineer for a contract position in Redmond, WA. The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension. Position Summary : Purpose of the Team : The purpose of this team is to serve as the central hub for driving carbon and waste reduction goals. It provides governance, reporting, and cross-team alignment to ensure progress on key initiatives such as Scope 3 emissions reduction, circular design, and embodied carbon disclosure. By standardising practices and enabling collaboration across sourcing, engineering, and logistics, the PMO helps mitigate financial risk and accelerate our path toward FY30 sustainability commitments. Primary Responsibilities / Accountabilities : Build and maintain data pipelines. Assemble large, complex datasets from multiple sources. Automate reporting. Develop analytical tools for business insights. Develop dashboards and visual reporting. Collaborate with project owners to collect business requirements for reporting. Develop AI tools for productivity (e.g., Carbon Free Energy validation tool). Qualifications : Years of Experience Required : 8-10 years of overall experience in the field. Degrees or certifications required : No degree is required to be eligible for this role. Experience managing sustainability projects. Supply chain experience. Experience working with AI productivity tools and developing productivity tools. Performance Indicators : Performance will be assessed based on the ability to execute proposed key projects (ex., Development of models), and how behaviours (team collaboration, effective communication, open to feedback and continuous improvement) Minimum 8 years of experience with Strong proficiency in SQL, Kusto, Azure Synapse, DAX, M (Power Query), Python, and Power BI. Minimum 8 years of experience with Agile methodology. Minimum 2 years of experience with the Development of AI productivity tools. Master's degree in business, Project Management, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years' experience in project management, operations, or engineering OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience. Strong communication and teamwork. Strong proficiency in SQL, Kusto, Azure Synapse, DAX, M (Power Query), Python, and Power BI. Agile methodology. Development of AI productivity tools.
