Are you passionate about providing exceptional care and education to infants and toddlers, nurturing their development during the crucial early years of life? Join our team as an Early Head Start Teacher, dedicated to creating a safe and enriching environment for children from birth to age 3.
Position Overview : As an Early Head Start Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of infants and toddlers in our program. Your responsibilities will focus on providing high-quality early childhood education and care, building strong relationships with families, and fostering a nurturing atmosphere that promotes growth and development.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities tailored to the unique needs of infants and toddlers.
- Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
- Observe and assess each child's development and progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
- Build strong partnerships with families through open communication, home visits, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Provide individualized support for children with diverse needs and abilities.
- Maintain accurate records of child observations, assessments, and developmental milestones.
- Collaborate with a team of educators and specialists to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest best practices in infant and toddler care and early childhood education.
- Ensure compliance with Early Head Start regulations and program standards.
