Summary : POSITION SUMMARY :
Human resources analysts compile, structure, and analyze data to make conclusions that help streamline HR processes. The HR data analyst is involved in the basics of data-driven HR in the organization. In order to accurately report on HR data, the analyst is involved in the aggregation of data, maintaining HR data quality, and the analysis of data. Depending on the data maturity and systems of the organization, these reports can be ad hoc. Ad hoc reporting means that the information has to be manually retrieved from the systems for reporting and analysis.
He / She is responsible for ensuring that all managers are informed on the status of issues, and concerns by collecting relevant information as necessary. HR analysts gather statistics on compensation for specific job openings, analyze results from employee satisfaction surveys, evaluate training results, and more. Competencies required for this include strong attention to detail and a strong drive to use data to answer business questions
POSITION EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience working in the human resources field, including HR analytics.
Advanced computer skills required with proficiency of Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills.
Bilingual : English / Spanish preferred.
JOB KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE :
Capacity to apply discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information
Ability to develop and manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
Some evening or weekend work will be required.
Experience with HR platforms e.g. Kronos, Jobvite, etc.

CUSTOMER SERVICE :

B. Working Conditions : The individual spends over 95% of his / her time in an air-conditioned environment with varying exposures to noise. There is protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. The position does have low exposure to malodorous, infectious body fluids from patients, and some minimal exposure to noxious smells from cleansing agents.
C. Occupational Exposure : This position has minimal to no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues and is an OSHA Category III (although situations can be imagined or hypothesized under which anyone, anywhere, might encounter potential exposure to body fluids). The person who performs these duties is not called upon as part of their employment to perform or assist in emergency medical care or first aid or to be potentially exposed in some other way.
