Job Description
Xavier University's Office of Human Resources is seeking a passionate Learning and Development Manager to lead the professional development initiatives for Xavier employees. Strong communication skills and demonstrated success is essential in effectively developing our supervisors, managers and leaders.
Responsibilities includes but not limited to :
- Developing and implementing learning strategies and programs that are aligned with Xavier's strategic objectives.
- Designing e-learning courses, career plans, workshops and other trainings.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver training sessions and workshops to employees at various levels and departments.
- Evaluate individual and organizational development needs. Support employees' growth and developing their knowledge, skills, and capabilities to drive better business performance.
- Help managers develop their team members through career pathing.
- Assessing, benchmarking, and reporting the effectiveness of training programs.
- Develops and maintains organizational communications such as website and communication board to ensure employees have knowledge of training and development events and resources.
- Maintaining budgets and relationships with vendors and consultant.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in learning trends, changes in learning theory, and developments in learning technologies.
