Position Overview :
Star Bright Dental in Westminster, CA is seeking a passionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in providing exceptional patient care and promoting optimal oral health. Your skills and dedication will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality dental services while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform comprehensive dental assessments, including reviewing medical history and conducting oral examinations.
- Provide routine dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing procedures.
- Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices, brushing and flossing techniques, and preventive care strategies.
- Review and document patient treatment plans, recording necessary information in Dentrix.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, maintaining a clean and sterile working environment.
- Review patient records and documentation for accuracy and completeness, submitting for medical coding where applicable.
- Be a resource for patients and their families, answering questions and providing guidance on dental health and treatments.
